La Conferencia sobre los Sistemas de Afloramiento de Borde Oriental (EBUS): Pasado, Presente y Futuro y la Segunda Conferencia Internacional sobre el Sistema de Corrientes de Humboldt están programadas para el 19 al 23 de septiembre en Lima, Perú.

Esta conferencia reunirá a estudiantes, investigadores pos-doctorantes, jóvenes científicos y expertos mundiales para comprender, revisar y sintetizar el estado del conocimiento acerca de la dinámica, sensibilidad, vulnerabilidad y resiliencia de los Sistemas de Afloramiento de los Bordes Orientales de los océanos (EBUS por sus siglas en inglés), así como de sus recursos vivos, en relación a la variabilidad climática, el cambio climático y los eventos extremos.

The Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) Oceania section is proud to team up with the University of Queensland Centre for Biodiversity and Conservation Science (CBCS) to host the 4th Oceania Congress for Conservation Biology (OCCB) to be held on July 6-8, 2016 in Brisbane, Australia. The meeting will bring together the community of conservation professionals to address conservation challenges and present new findings, initiatives, methods, tools and opportunities in conservation science and practice.
